You will be prepared to work in a home visit program for parents of infants and toddlers with disabilities or as a teacher at a public or private preschool program for children with and without disabilities. Your learning will be guided by philosophies that support the interactive nature of child-environment exchanges and their importance to children's ongoing developmental progress. You will learn assessment, evaluation, child intervention strategies and family interaction strategies, to aid you in identifying and providing services for young children with disabilities. Master's candidates will learn critical skills in research and comprehensive literature review.
